Starting high school is a big transition—for students and their families! Parents and guardians of incoming BCHS students are invited to join our administrative team for What to Expect When You’re Expecting a High Schooler on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
This BCHS 101 session will provide a practical introduction to high school and help families feel prepared for the year ahead. We will discuss schedules, attendance, academic expectations, communication, student activities, available support, and some of the changes parents may notice as their child becomes a high school student.
There will also be time to ask questions and learn how families and the school can work together to help every student have a successful high school experience.
This meeting is designed for parents and guardians only, so please plan to attend without your student. We look forward to welcoming you to the BCHS family!
